  • Section
  • Workers' Fight was formed in 1966. Following a brief association with the Irish Workers' Group, WF joined the International Socialists (IS) in 1968 as the International Socialists' 'Trotskyist Tendency'. They were expelled from IS in December 1971 and resumed independent activity as Workers' Fight. In December 1975 WF merged with the Workers' Power group to form the International-Communist League, however the merger was short-lived and Workers' Power left I-CL in 1976. The remaining members of ICL merged with the Workers' Socialist League in 1981.
