The Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) was formed by the merger of the Revolutionary Socialist League (RSL) and the Workers' International League (WIL) in 1944. The RCP split in 1949.
The Marxist League, the Militant group and the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Edinburgh had previously joined with RSL.
