  • The Association of Supervising Electrical Engineers was founded in 1914. It was renamed the Association of Supervisory and Executive Engineers (ASEE) in 1969. The ASEE became part of the Electrical Power Engineers' Association (EPEA) in January 1977. In April 1977 the EPEA created a federal structure, the Engineers' and Managers' Association (EMA), and the ASEE remained as an autonomous section within this.
