  • The National Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders derives from the Central Committee of Discharged Prisoners' Aid Societies, later the Central Discharged Prisoners' Aid Society, then the National Association of Discharged Prisoners' Aid Societies. The aim of the organisation was to provide assistance and support to those released from prison.
