Professor of Industrial Relations, Warwick University, 1967-79; member, Royal Commission on Trades Unions and Employers' Associations, 1965-68; Committee of enquiry into Port Transport Industry, 1964-65; Committee of Inquiry into Seaman's Dispute, 1966-67; National Board for Prices and Incomes, 1966-67; Committee of Inquiry into Local Authorities Manual Workers' Pay Dispute, 1970. Professor Clegg died in 1995.
