The Leeds United Brass Founders' and Finishers' Society was a sectional Society founded in 1848. By 1890 the Union had 170 members before merging with the Manchester Brassfounders, Turners', Fitters' and Finishers' Society in 1909. The Manchester Brassfounders', Turners', Fitters' and Finishers' Society in turn merged with other sectional Societies to form the Amalgamated Association of Brassfounders, Turners, Fitters and Coppersmiths in 1912.
