  • This company was incorporated in 1925 to acquire the business of Robert Isherwood. Following his resignation as director, Rorbert Isherwood was appointed veterinary adviser on 2 January 1933. It was managed by the Bishop's Wharf Carrying Company Limited and was later acquired by the national road haulage and warehousing company, the Transport Development Group.
