  • The collection forms part of the much larger archive of the Engineering Employers' Federation (MSS.237), its creating body essentially having been a predecessor organisation to the EEF.

  • Founded in 1908 at a Provisional Committee meeting which met for that purpose on 14 May 1908. The Federation was dissolved in November 1919, most of its members having joined the Engineering and Allied Employers' National Federation.
  • The archive has been weeded for duplicates.
