The Glass Bottle Makers of Yorkshire United Trade Protection Society (also called the Glass Bottle Makers United Trade Protection Society of Yorkshire) may date as far back as 1827. It was renamed the National Glassworkers' Trade Protection Association in 1920 and amalgamated with the Transport and General Workers' Union in 1940.
