  • CND was established in 1958 as the successor to the National Committee for the abolition of Nuclear Weapon Tests, founded a year earlier.   • The British Library of Political and Economic Science holds a large group of national administrative records and minutes and papers of the London region CND, Youth CND, and Colleges and Universities CND. The papers of the Aberystwyth Nuclear Weapons Committee, and CND Cymru are in the National Library of Wales.
