According to a page at the front of Volume 1of the "Reports, Minutes and Awards of JT Commissions...", The National Joint Committee, NJ Commission, Emergency Committee, Emergency Disputes Committee, ED Commission, National (Joint) Emergency Disputes Committee or NED Commission, are interchangeable and refer to the same body. That body is the "ad hoc" committee made up of representatives from the executive bodies of the NFBTO and NFBT Employers.
