The Group was reconvened on 15 August 1985 by the Social Policy and Public Relations Divisional Committee to review the impact of the 1984 Registered Homes Act on social service departments. At its fifth meeting on 16 December 1985, the Group hoped to send out a first draft of its report by 10 January 1986, for discussion at the Divisional Committee meeting on 17 January 1986.
