The terms of reference of this Project Group, which first met on 9 October 1986, as recommended to the Professional Practice Divisional Committee, were "to consider and review the existing policies of the Association on a Social Work Council, registration and accreditation, to identify and progress discussion on outstanding and unresolved policy issues" and to make recommendations and present interim reports.
