The meeting on 12 September 1986 was probably the first of this Project Group. Its first term of reference was "To examine the Association as an Equal Opportunities Organisation. To make recommendations to F&GP and Council on any necessary policy and practice changes.". A study day was organised, its aims being to increase members' awareness and knowledge; to obtain their informations and views and to look at the implications for social work training and practice which would arise.
