  • The National Builders' Labourers' and Constructional Workers' Society (NBLCWS) was founded as the United Builders' Labourers' Union (UBLU) in 1889. It changed its name in 1920. In 1952 the society merged with the Amalgamated Union of Building Trade Workers (AUBTW).
