Previously registered as C.& L.Hill (Die Castings) Ltd, its name was changed in October 1973, and the new company took over the Hydraulics Manufacturing department from the Darlaston company to continue the manufacture of HUSCO hydraulic valves under a licence from the US owned Koehring Ltd. The plant was in the Kings Hill Works at Wednesbury. With the HUSCO licence due to expire in 1979, development of new valves using Rubery Owen technology started in 1977, and were sold under the trade name ROHYD to customers like J.C.Bamford, Volvo, Hymac. The economic recession in 1980 led to a decline in the company's market share and the business was sold.
