  • The National Association of Local Education Authority Youth Leaders (NALEAYL) was formed on 24 April 1959 at the instigation of the Essex County Wardens' Association. It amalgamated with the National Association of Youth Leaders and Organisers in 1963 to form the Youth Service Association.
