  • This Working Party first met on 29 January 1972, its task being the response of BASW to the White Paper "Better services for the Mentally Handicapped" (HMSO Command 4683). The meeting on 18 July 1972 hoped that the report would be finalised with one further meeting after the next one on 4 September 1972.
