The Bridgebuilding and Constructional Engineering Employers' Association was in existence before 1921, from which date its records survive. The Association was a member of the Engineering Employers' Federation. There was a Bridgebuilding and Constructional National Technical Committee of the EEF, whose records cover the period 1924-1949. The Bridgebuilding and Constructional Engineering Employers' Association presumably amalgamated with the Engineering Employers' East Midlands Association, c.1973.
The archive has been weeded for duplicates.

The records of the Engineering Construction Industry Association are held at MSS.91/ECIA.
